► The history of the Shi’ah Faith of Islam has been the history of blood and tears, and at an intellectual level, the Shi’ah faith has been misunderstood and misconstrued. The author shows that in the matter of basic principles and fundamental beliefs as well as in subsidiary issues, the Shi’ah Faith has been derived profusely from the Holy Qur’an, Hadiths and from the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt, being closest to the Holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., are fully conversant with his traditions.
