Imam Mahdi in Sunni and Shia Hadith

This volume presents the English translation of Imam Mahdi (a) dar Aḥādīth e Shī‘e h va Sunnī. Although concise in its original form, the work is notable for its clarity, scholarship, and organisation. 

Imam Mahdi (a) in Sunni and Shi‘a Ḥadīth is arranged into five chapters. It surveys the earliest Shi‘a and Sunni references to Imam Mahdi (a), including those recorded before his birth; analyses the themes and transmission of the ḥadīth corpus; situates belief in al-Mahdi within the doctrine of Imāmah; examines shared and divergent narrations concerning his life and mission; and concludes with responses to key scholarly objections.

For the English edition, every citation has been verified directly against its primary source, and the Arabic texts of the narrations have been included to support independent scholarly assessment. Additional material, such as a comprehensive bibliography and a structured discussion of Imāmah, further enhances the academic value of the book.
